HNGD!!!

I got this guitar on Tuesday. I previously owned an Albert Lee HH that I had Marty Bell do a custom purple sparkle paintjob on. I had to sell it(along with a Bali Burst Luke iii) due to unexpected medical bills.

I was able to pic this one up and it's a beauty!!!

It took a little time to set the trem to float to allow me to give a nice vibrato to notes/chords. But now it's just where I want it!!!

Totally dig it.

Not really my taste, but HNGD. EB's are nice, I couldn't deal with the neck carve on my JP and decided to sell it a few years back, but it was nice.

I wanted to hate EBMM because they acted like morons on their forum when GC was dumping PRS and EBMM guitars like crazy. The CEO banned me and made a public statement about it because when I was told to stop talking about why GC was dumping the guitars, I posted a picture of Sgt Schultz. The CEO took that to mean I was calling them nazi's. I was really saying "Jawohl, Herr Kommandant" to be funny... like a good natured way of saying "Ok, I will no longer post about it".

At the time, I owned 5 EBMM guitars including the Siberian Majesty because I took advantage of GC dumping those guitars and bought 4 of them. 2 Lukes, 1 Albert Lee and a Steve Morse.

When they banned me and the CEO came out and said some pretty bullshit things about me specifically... without ever asking me a goddamn thing... I was pretty pissed about it... so I returned all of those guitars to GC that same day.

Later, I regretted that decision. Those guitars were all amazing in their own right. The CEO may have acted douchey to me that day... but I love EBMM guitars.

Wow. I agree the he can be a tough pill to swallow so I don't go on the MM forums that much. I have even gone back-and-forth with him a few times via email because of the situation that occurred a few years back. At the end the day, things smoothed out but I did leave a bad taste in my mouth for a bit.

At the time, I had five Music Man Guitars and I was going to sell every single one of them. I decided to sleep on it for a bit and I think that was a great decision because they're fantastic guitars especially for the price

At the end of the day, I ended up with some much better models for less. They were used but MINT.

Yeah, I still own one EBMM that I bought used. I have no intention of buying another new one though (or any other used EBMM's for that matter). I wouldn't want to give him the satisfaction.
