Hey Dave,

Do you have any thoughts on using a Brown Eye modded amp with Redwirez in a home studio environment?

I have the Randall RM100 you modded for me a some time ago and was thinking this may be better than building a home made ISO booth but wanted your feedback. And not to mention it would take up far less room!

Has anyone ever done this with their Friedman? Results?

Also... would the new STFU work? Would it br all that I need (other than redwirez software and pro tools)?

Thanks,
RMCasey

This is cool I did not even know this existed.

Are the IR's comparable to the Redwirez?

I know I'll still need something like a DR box or a dummyload between my interface and my speaker out... but if I only use in the home studio wouldn't the software only (Torpedo PI-101 Modern) preform similar functionality?

The live is a load box and yes it can load ir's. Look for the Pete Thorn review.

Really interested in this!

If I go this way I'll have to break down and buy a rack case. I'll probably have a custom case made (the size of the top of my cab) and sandwich it between my 4x12 and my head to keep things neat.

That being said... I'll probably get a rack mountable Furman power strip to power my amp, torpedo live and run power from it to my pedal board (G system and several analog pedals) as well.

Dave.... Is it worth it to go with the Power Factor Series with Clear Tone (much more expensive) over the regular Furman 15A or 20A? What's best for my application?

Always appreciate your help and direction!

Thanks,
Ryan
