The thing that gets me is there has to be people on the left that know what they are being told is bullshit and they keep on listening to the same people who lie to them every single day.
Those people who are lying to everyone have little effect on people who know they are lying, but to those who believe what is easily proven to be false, they get spun up to a point that you can only call it delusional or mental illness of some kind. Now it’s a given that those people do exist on both sides of the isle but from what I have seen the delusional mental nutcases are 10-1 on the left vs the right.
Those on the left will immediately refute that but there is an actual study that does confirm it. Maybe 10-1 is an exaggeration, but it’s probably not that far off.
In the end, the sad thing is that we are seemingly hopelessly divided in our country.
If the people on both sides of the isle could ever get past the bullshit that keeps us against each other we could really turn this thing around for everyone who truly does want what will lead to a better future for us and our families. Those who want to tear the whole thing down and go to socialism are willfully stupid and should never be taken seriously by anyone with a brain.
It’s really going to come down to the people vs the ruling class elites, and the elites have a pretty dam good head start that WE GAVE TO THEM WILLINGLY.
Maybe we were just too busy working our asses off to realize we were doing that..
Maybe we underestimated how devious and dishonest most of them were..
Maybe we were just stupid enough to not give a shit because one person can’t seem to make any difference in a world where nobody can change anyones mind about anything..
Just look at the time we spend in here just trading punches with each other, it’s a perfect example. Both sides do it. I do it. Anyone reading this likely does it.
If we all met up for an ampfest somewhere and nobody was allowed to use their forum name we would all have a blast and would be planning the next one before it was over.
We would realize that most of us are just normal working people who want similar things out of life and we would likely get along great.
The absolute last thing that the ruling elite class wants is for us to figure out that we have more in common than we likely disagree over. We have given them the ability to use everything about us as humans against us by making us think the other side is the source of most if not all of our problems because clearly the other side is dumber than a box of rocks..
If we ever got past that stupid shit and united as a country we could solve 98% of the problems we face, but this only applies if we have honest good intentions in the first place.
At this point I’m not holding my breath…
