Honeymooning with the JJ

Dave hit it out of the park with the JJ 100. This amp is incredibly nice and absolutely nails "that" tone. The BE has a little more fur on it than the standard BE. Dave and Jerry have the JBE dialed in perfectly and with a hell of a lot of range to the JBE gain. There's no flub in the upper regions of the JBE and it holds together very well. Both the BE/JBE saturate and compresses just right. Nice FX loop, nice clean. The JBE has some really nice harmonics going on with good note definition and sustain for days. This amp is the complete package and is spot on. I can see why Jerry would have his name on this amp.

Congrats Steve, really hoping to pick one of these up in 2015. Dave really builds kick ass amps and I've pretty much owned all of them. From the clips I've heard of this amp I think it going to be the best suited one for me.

Dude the amp is incredible
Holds together well at high gain/volumes also.
The voicing of the amp is just right and feels fantastic.
The cleans are super good and with the Master and Channel Volume
you can get an array of clean tones with the switch also. VERY Voxy and
inspiring.
Mid gain tone are totally there, sounds like a useful Marshall with a killer bottom, juicy mids and biting highs.
Then the JBE boost sends the amp into the high heaven ranking with the best of the best.

Band practice with it tonight. It's simply an awesome sounding amp with a wide range of tone - but a tone that is familiar. I don't know any other amp like it. I have owned a Snorkler modded amp, and a Bogner Fish with the Cantrell mod. Dave's collaboration with Jerry and the finished product absolutely destroys the them.

Gonna see if I can coax some Metallica riffs out of it tonight at practice, along with some much anticipated JC.
