Hi all
Edit: i assume it was ground wire clip that caused issues. I do not know for certain. Its the only thing I can think of.
In need of some help. I couldnt get this to work on one amp and think I hurt my 1987x plexi by accident.
Can someone please share a picture of where you would attach the clip for the ground wire in a 1987x, a jcm 800 2203x, and a mesa boogie rev g dual rectifier not multiwatt. Or look at pics im sharing and help a brother out.
I installed on plexi. It was amazing. I took it out. Tried mesa. No joy (no sound!). Then redid plexi and fucked up. Tube got lava red it was misclipped on to that powertube ring thing.
Now I have in my jcm 800. I get a bass boom. I get gain. Just seems a tad different.
Squealier with my ps100 than it had been. My orange amp detonator, I can click phase switch and it switches things up (this is not the norm). Noise gate seems a bit weird (which makes sense i use orange aby to split signal to key in gate).
This jcm is factory fresh there shouldn't be a thing wrong. It was fine before install.
hoping someone can talk me through to make sure im not messing this up. It was so easy and then the plexi thing freaked me out.
