Just wondering how everyone handles this. Ive never fiddled with it because Im just a couple of pedals in front of the amp guy , but I am going to start running an M13 with the 4CM with my Super Sonic for my cover band. Having 3 cables running to the amp can get messy awful quick. Do yall just use zip ties and tie them together ? I was also thinking about just buying some multi pair cable and putting my own ends on , so I just had a mini snake type of deal.

I used some casing and put the 3 cables through it to make one cable. I can't remember where I ordered it though.

I use zip ties. Pedal Snake looks cool though, but I'd still end up with zip ties because of my footswitch, so...

I guess it depends on the amp and switch, but I run the footswitch through the PedalSnake too.

Get a snake made by Casey http://www.fallout-labs.com
Here's the one he did for me. Couldn't be happier.

I have a snake that was made by a TGP forum member. Although, there is a company selling a kit that's very simple to put together. It comes with all the stuff. Sheathing, ties, etc. I can' remember the name of the company but it's a pretty cool deal. I bet you could find it pretty easily with a search. The thing I remembered is they had a video showing how to put it together.

1/4 jack hardwired into the switch. If it was a removable 5 pin, absolutely!

This gets my vote as Well. Check out the Pedalsnake Custom Shop theyll put together what ever you want and it comes to you in this beautiful one piece snake, Looks like your basic guitar cord only thicker with more plugs and its solid and sounds great....I love mine..

Mine's 1/4, but I went out and bought a footswitch with a detachable cable to use with the PedalSnake.

I made my own, like some mentioned/showed above, using Techflex sleeving. I can't recall which one I used exactly or where I got it from, but I wish it wasthis type, that cuts clean with no fraying. I might have bought it from redco.com, I believe that is where I got everything else. I went with different colored cable to make it easier to keep track of the ends.

I just used electrical tape and taped the three together. Both my amps multichannel with footswitches so the snake wouldn't work for me.

I run the cables seperately and tie them together with velcro ties.

The Techflex solutions look great though...

TechFlex Flexo PET http://www.techflex.com/prod_pet.asp and some heat shrink tubing on the ends to keep it from unraveling. I always find the best prices on eBay for smaller quantities. There is a seller on there will all kinds of Flexo PET.

Just got a Lava Cable Snake - quality cables with options of cable brand, customizable, well built and reliable.

Love mine, will post a pic when I can.

I used techflex as well. Ordered thru Redco. Make sure you get the adequate size shrink wrap for the ends if your doing it yourself. It's super easy

I used TechFlex as well. Very easy stuff to work with. In fact, if you contact TechFlex they will send you samples of all their products plus different sizes (free of charge) so you can be assured of the size you need. Great company to deal with. As far as purchasing, I bought mine from Parts Express.

What I had on my old board when I used two amps and switched the 4CM between both along with a 7pin DIN cable for switching channels on one amp.
Single connector on the board side with a pigtail of 1/4" on the amp side, all run through a single 18 conductor (IIRC) cable (I forget exactly where I got this, but it was for av/televsion/etc. installations).

When I was playing regularly I had 4-5 cables running back and forth to the amp. I wanted to do something "different" so I found a book about tying different knots. I came across one that was pretty neat and tried it. I forget what style of braiding it is but it lasted a while... till one of the cables didn't work then I had to take it all apart again. Took about half an hour to do 20 feet and used zip ties at the end.

It looked similar to this.
