How does Cantrell split to both amps?

I understand that live, Jerry Cantrell uses two amps blended to get his tone, but how does he split his signal to both of them? Does he use something like a stereo chorus or delay in the path on all the time or is it a dedicated A/B/both type box?
I ask because I am tempted to try two amps live and have seen pictures of his rack using a CE-5 and Timefactor with cables plugged in to both outputs.

Hi. This is obviously an older rig, but he used a Whirlwind selector and an RJM effects gizmo.
