How does the Suhr Riot take to an OD before it?

I'm thinking of picking up a Riot and running that as my main high gain tone into the clean channel of my Tweaker when I *need* pristine cleans. I really like the Tweaker's gain (and clean!) and generally roll back for dirty cleans but I also do gigs where I need more versatility so this is where the Riot comes in.
I'm wondering a) how close I'll get to the Tweaker's fat Brit mode with the Riot and b) how it reacts to an OD stacked into it for more greasy lead tones? The pedal I was thinking of juicing it with is a Sparkle Drive, if that's of any consequence.

Any help would be great.

Best way to find out is try it for yourself, as I'm sure results will vary. Sorry. not much help.

I have a Riot and like it a lot, but I didn't stack it with other pedals.
To me it has lots of gain on its own

I have used a Koko Boost before it and it mates up really nicely.

hey Adam, how are you liking the Tweaker? I'm thinking about either selling the Renegade and getting a Tweaker 40, or keeping the Renegade and getting a used Tweaker 15 when the 40 hits the market. Not sure yet.

besides your thoughts I wanted to ask a couple of question:

1) how is loud is the little amp? (will I run out of power with a drummer?)
2) is the clean channel "fendery" enough?
3) with the volume low so you get no breakup, is it still loud enough with a drummer?

That's cool but I would prefer two gain levels for rhythm and lead, hence the question. I'm quite sure the Riot has enough gain at noon really...

I love the Tweaker. Probably my favourite amp I've owned aside from the Ecstasy. I'd personally opt for the 15 if you want to "tweak" it as you can put whatever power tubes you want in it but the 40 might be more your bag as to answer your questions...
1) It is definitely loud. I run it with EL34s and have gigged with it on half volume. Plenty of volume to spare. Granted this was running dirty but was in a loud rock context.
2) Yes, in USA mode. Is it exact, no, but then you might aswell get a Fender if you want that, right?
3) Yes and no. It depends how loud your drummer is playing I guess. You might struggle to get ZERO break up out of it if your drummer is loud and you're hitting the strings hard but with 6L6s pushing the headroom up (note, not the wattage) then it's certainly doable. I've never ran into problems when I've ran it completely clean with either the EL34s of 6V6s but you do sense the 6V6s wanting to break up, for sure.

I've used the original Dano TO into the RIOT and loved it. Really fluid for solos, works great. Doesn't take much gain on the overdrive to make it sing.

Have you ever of BJFE pedals? Highly desireable and expensive. Like Klon expensive. His Cliffhanger goes for 1200 on the used market. Well Donnerbox teamed up with Bjorn and now sells the Bearfoot version much cheaper but suppossedly just as good. All BJFE designed. Bjorn flew over here to make sure Donner had all of the sourcing, etc. The Dyna Red just became available Friday. I got in on the first run.

Interesting.... thank a lot adam.

I'm not really a "tweaker" perse. I just like having different flavors for my studio work.

Live I'm set with a nice clean sound and a nice OD.

I don't mind having just 6V6 (I'm not into EL34 much)

I think I will get the Tweaker 40 and sell the Renegade.
