I have to know; was his offer respectable? My '78 PS10. Paul offered to buy this from me in '93.
Only reason I could think of was by that time, he didn't have very many originals left in excellent condition. I really don't know though. However it was a Christmas gift from my parents and I could not part with it. He flipped it over and signed the back. Even took the time to say take it to a luthier and have some clear coat sprayed over the sig.

Never got to that point as I was kinda in shock when he asked but once I picked my jaw from the floor, I told him about it being a Christmas Gift in '78. He basically said, yep I understand great story.I have to know; was his offer respectable?
I wonder what the price tag was back in '78?My '78 PS10. Paul offered to buy this from me in '93.

I think Retail was $695. I think the actual price on it at the store was around 8 ish. I remember walking into the store, there it is and I'm begging lol. Come back a few weeks later and it's gone, I was crushed. My Dad had already bought it lol. We had cool parents, I got the PS10 and my friend go a Gibson V2. This same store had stacks of used Marshall Plexis for like $150 bucks during that time, not kidding. Stacks of them but everyone wanted the new JMP 2203 and 2204's. Crazy to think about that now.I wonder what the price tag was back in '78?
