How much is this guitar REALLY worth???

I figured I'd let the true cork-sniffers appraise my guitar.

It's an Ibanez V Blade VBT700. It was originally a custom design for Sam Totman of Dragonforce, but he ended up making an Iceman his signature guitar. They made a bunch of these and released them in 2007, then quickly discontinued them.

It's a 5-ply maple/walnut neck through mahogany body. It has a custom Gibraltar bridge, a string through body, and DiMarzio D Activator™ pickups in it. Furthermore, I deleted the tone knob and put a coil tap knob in it's place, so the pickups are coil-tapped at the pull of a knob. It's a wire and a resistor away from having a tone knob again.

I've provided pics of the actual guitar and all it's flaws. I tried to include all of the flaws in pics, but some minor belt rash and a few tiny dings didn't show up. You really have to look hard to notice them. It does include the original fitted case and case candy.

What is it worth???

I'd say around $500... IIRC these weren't expensive while they were in production to begin with

It's made in Indonesia. I'm not trying to sell it just yet. Was considering a local trade.

I've seen these go on eBay as high as $800+, and go used on CL for $300. Good condition with the OHSC is between $500 and $600?

They only made them in 2007, and then discontinued them because of a stipulation in a previous lawsuit. Ibanez is not legally allowed to make Vs.

Not to be a douche but you are about 2 months late on this. It's ok though I've done it too   !

It's cool though. You guys can bump my posts anytime.

I do still have the guitar too.
