Any idea on how much of a volume incease there is on the BE-100 when you footswitch to the hbe channel from the standard be channel? Just got the amp and was wondering if it would be enough volume boost for solos or if I should keep my micro amp on the board and use it in the loop for solos like iv been doing with my other amps. Thanks!

The HBE mode adds a gain stage to the front of the amp, like hitting it with an OD. It adds GAIN, but NOT volume! If you want to make your setup physically louder going into solos, you will need to add your micro amp booster in the loop and turn it on entering into the solo(s).

You need a pedal switcher and run the 4CM so you can switch channels and also turn on your micro boost with one tap.

There's options depending on how many loops you want

Or you can go with something like an FX8 which will do all that and already have great effects built in.

Those are probably overkill for me. I just need a couple effects in front of the amp and a delay and a boost in the loop. Thanks for all the help!

That pedal only uses a mono cable instead of a TRS to switch channels so Im not sure if you'd be switching from BE to clean or BE to HBE.

Yeah i dont need the ability to switch to the clean channel fwiw. I just roll down for clean.

I wonder if something like this would work just to switch to the hbe channel and have the micro amp in the loop of the pedal for a volume boost as well

That little box is $80 alone. You could get a Musicom Labs switcher for around $300-$500 depending on what you want. I've used the EFX 62M for over a year and has worked great with my BE100 and DS Mini. 6 loops, plenty midi functions, EXP pedal control, Ch switching everything on Friedmans, good buffer and nice low-noise floor. Can find these used or buy the EFX-LE that is about $500 with few more features.
This is the one I use:

An H9 is the perfect answer. Delay and a boost of up to 12dbs. And not to mention eventide quality. The decibel 11sw dr is the cheapest looper /midi pedal i could find with great support , 4 loops and midi and amp channel switching with one press.
