Here's my lesson on "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. There's quite a bit of stretching involved in this one, but once you learn the fingering "trick" it's not as hard as it might seem. Not only a great guitar part, very ethereal with all the 9ths, it's also a great exercise for the left hand.

It's not a dead on match for Andy Summers tone, but it's close considering it's a Les Paul. There's a section on how I got the sound in there too which might be of some use to anyone that's fairly new to guitars and gear.

I hope you enjoy the lesson.
cheers everyone

You should probably charge.

The quality and accuracy is something that lacks in most others.

That was great! I absolutely love your videos and have watched and learned from many of them. The explanations and examples are very clear and easy to follow with many repeats which is also helpful. Thanx again!

Just checked out some more of your videos, you do a great job! "Old Man" was awesome, been trying to figure that one out. Thanks

Nice lesson. I've been doing some unnecessary stretching when I play that. This is much better. Thanks!

Hey ctoddrun, thanks for the kind words bro...that'll be ten bucks! :D

Well, I make a bit of ad revenue from youtube, it's not much but they're going to have a tip jar there soon so I'll see how that goes. I mean I just can't see charging folks outright, I think that business model is pretty well dead. Right now I'm just working on getting the channel a bit bigger and then I don't know, I don't have a master plan or anything. Thanks for watching bro.

as mentioned I watch all your videos as well and theyre great man! keep em coming...
