Can anyone tell me what I can get or plug into my iPhone to record my amps ?
I'm not tech savvy so please forgive me !!
I see all kinds of interface things for iPhones , but I want to use my own amps .
Does anyone know what I can get for this ?
Thanks
Jim

You'll need a ios interface with a mic input. Or one with a line input and use a little mixer or something in front of it. I would try to find one that also works with USB so it can also be used with your computer. You will need a multi track recording app like Garageband or the one from Apogee.

It will take some Google thread hunting to figure out which ones are of the higher quality.

I appreciate the replies !!!
I'm an non conformist!!
Not a tech kinda guy !
I'm a plug n play dude.

I have a Focusrite iTrack Solo that I like a lot. Mic/guitar pre-amp that works via USB with iPhone/iPad or PC. Hook it up and load up your mobile DAW of choice (Garageband, for instance) and you are good to go. It's powered via USB as well, which is great.
