Okay so im not very computer savy to say the least. I want to post some clips and haven't a clue how to do so. I've got a zoom H2 which records pretty well and I can get them into my windows media player but that's as far as I can get. Please give me a very dumb'ed down version of how to get some on this forum for christ's sake.
 
Create a YouTube account > Upload the video > Post the link or embed the video to the post.
 
You can either upload the .mp3 file on a website like NetMusicians and post the link, or just attach the file to a post here at the boards. There is a attachment option under the text box when you post. Click the button, browse to the file, select it, and upload it.

Hosting it at a media sharing website like NetMusicians is the best way to do it, IMO.

Easier way is to get famous, play some high profile gigs like Royal Albert and that kinda thing and they will pro record it for you and put it on the net. Nothing to it really. :D
 
Netmusicians.org is the easiest and fastest. You tube takes a while for them to process it and we'll be stuck waiting for your clips while it processes. :doh:
 
I know this sounds retarded but I went in to netmusicians and tried to create a profile and as soon as I finished I went to log in and it said password not found.... fuck! On top of that how do I convert a clip out of windows media player into a MP3?
 
Did you verify your account? Most websites send you an email to verify your account when you sign up. It's a security measure intended to stop people from making fraudulent accounts with other peoples/fake adresses.
 
Thanks man i'll try that next! Im such a fucking idiot.... I was finally able to post a clip with my droid x but im very limited to sound quality so I've got to figure it all out.

Some people are just computer illiterate. Just gotta take it slow and learn. An idiot, you are not sir :thumbsup:

Check your e-mail, see if they sent you a verification link. If they did, click on the link, and then try to sign in.
 
See that's the funny thing, when I hit new member sign up there is 4 blank spaces and its anyones guess what goes in those blanks. I tried email and a password and thought it said I had successfully created one but when I go to log in no match. I've signed up for many forums with the email verification blah blah but never have seen one that doesn't identify what they are asking for. I wonder if the site is not smart phone friendly. Might have to try it on my PC.
