First, I learned how to bias my amp using the shunt method (Multimeter on output transformer primaries) THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. Do not take this post as me saying that it is easy and you should try it yourself if you have never done it before. YOU CAN KILL YOURSELF..... EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE AMP UNPLUGGED. Sorry, but there is no easier way to put it. I did A LOT of research on how to do this and if you feel any bit insecure about doing this yourself, go to a tech.

Also, I am getting a better felling of how the volumes work and I think that maybe I like cranking the channel volumes more and having the master down a little haha.
Have to see over the next few days :) this is on my VH4 (with KT77 of course). What do you like to do with your volumes?

Crank 'em

Hey Sig I also crank my channel volumes and use the actual master V's to control over all level.

Or crank volumes (Masters and Channels) and use GAIN to control levels. Interesting outcomes with this method. Careful...windows in homes typically can handle a 4x12 cabinet in a 12' x 12' room up to 6 or 7 on the MV before loosening up
