Iplayed theough 8 ohm greenbacks in a vertical 2x12, a 1x12 with a Scumback M75, a Marshall B cab with beat G12T-75's and the Creamback cab. Hands down a 4x12 just sounds better than any other cab to me, with that said the creamback cab won. I do have an 1970's era Marshall B cab with greenbacks at church and that is probably the #2 cab.
So with my BE and PT here is the order of preference for my cabs:
1. Creamback loaded Road Case brand all plywood A cab.
2. Greenback loaded 1970's Marshall B cab.
3. Scumback M75 loaded "Tonewedge" by Tonesonics 1x12. I am saving up to buy 3 more M75's, they could become my favorite speaker if loaded into a 4x12.
4. G12-T75 loaded 1970's era Marshall B cab.
5. Greenback loaded vertical 2x12 by Tube Works.
6. G12-T75 loaded 1990's Marshall A cab.
7. H&K high end 4x12 (used to have #2's greenbacks in it) loaded with whatever speakers came stock with Sonic cabs. This cab is at my friends house so I have a cab when we practice there.
I have a fetish for guitar cabs, I have one more that I use as a TV stand.
