Paying it forward is something that happened to me once, in my youth, when I wasn't much of an earner or power player in my field. It helped me get on my feet and start my career, which has been very good to me. I like to help out people when and where I can so maybe they can taste the finer things in life at some point. That's why I'm considering purchasing this "yacht". They don't explicitly state that they're selling it to put a down payment on a real yacht that any self respecting sailor would be proud to own, but I get the feeling they are. I mean, this must have been all they could afford at the time and they're considering upgrading, at least hopefully.

I'm considering purchasing this to help them out and get started and then just sinking it out in the ocean for an artificial reef and a tax writeoff. I can't imagine how they can face their friends in the yacht club with this.

What do you guys think I should do with it?

Does the Skipper and Gilligan come with it? Asking for a commie friend.

As always friend you are exceptionally generous in character and spirit but I think you are slightly misguided this time. It was meant to be modern looking yet the lines seem dated and staid now. Not exactly the sort of reef I'm going to waste time breaking out my closed circuit rebreather gear to explore. Something wooden, and more classic, would be more fitting of your refined tastes especially since your name will be attached to it. Good luck and fair winds finding the perfect vessel to found "Norris Reef" with mate.
