While cleaning out my home office, I discovered that I had enough parts to actually build another guitar. So I figured it was about time for another "project." Slapped it all together in about an hour and it was ready to rock.

maple Fender neck
alder 80s Kramer body
Fender MIM bridge
Duncan JB (bridge)
fender single (middle)
DiMarzio Cruiser (neck)

Can't wait to hear in through my 5153 tomorrow night at practice.

Well, through the crappy little Line 6 amp I have at home, it sounds good. Tomorrow night will be the real test, as I'll run it though my actual live rig.

OMFG, you gotta be kidding me? LMAO! Did it intonate ok with the neck/body mismatch? (Don't think Kramer did 21 fret necks is what I'm getting at.)

Yes, it intonated just fine. It was originally driller for a Floyd Rose. The body around the studs cracked. So I had filled the holes with a dowel. Then I installed a vintage style bridge. There is a slight gap and the neck pocket, but it's not a big deal. If it sounds good through my 5153, I'll fill the neck holes and reset the neck all the way into the pocket. I have enough room on the saddles to compensate for the 1/8 inch neck gap.

21 and 22 fret necks attach and intonate exactly the same way...24 will get you into trouble though.

I found a couple of dust bunnies, a CD and the cap off of a beer bottle in my home office.

:(
