i just had some tard ask me to relist my guitar for less than what i was asking before.

wtf?

he claims they normally go for $300-$500.

i told him ive got $750 in it. neck work, rewired, new pickups, paint job, finish work, and trade value. hell i had it listed for $600 free shipping with case and he wanted less?

i know pete's got his japanese charvels for about that price - but not this one.

what the hell... i would never ask anyone to relist something i want and then lowball just because of someone elses. if he wants it for that price then go to the $300 values and get a $300 playing guitar

That's exactly what I meant by "double dipping". Fees to list, fees to sell, then fees for paypal, which they force you to use.

I'd love to tell them to fuck right off but their market is huge.

As much as I hate EBAY I still use it for the LAST RESORT.
Usually things will sell on there. I hate taking the hit on the fees but its still better than the local classifieds or a garage sale!

Market it just flooded right now. But people are still buying.
Hell I just bought a new amp last week!

Buyers think that since the economy's shaky they can ask insane prices and then get indignant when u shoot em down, like theyre doing you a favor... FWIW, and I've personally been thru this multiple times, From the sellers standpoint, ebay will NOT back you up for ANYthing... buyer has ANY problem at all, made up s#!t, doesnt think the color matches his eyes, whatEVER, your out in the cold...
