I have some questions about effects.

I am thinking of building up a rack...

Currently I have a Korg DTR-1 rack tuner.

I was wondering, would the TC Electronic G Major 1 (or 2) work well with the VH4? (probably into the Serial loop? I don't know for sure though cause i have never used anything more then stomp boxes)

How easy would it be to set up Midi wise?

Currently I use a Engl Z-12 midi controller, but will be getting the Diezel Columbus when I have more money haha.

I assume my rack will be fairly simple consisting of the Korg DTR-1, the G Major (1 or 2) and a rack wah.

The tc electronic 1 or 2 will work like a dream and has some of the best transparent fx with no drop-out switching at all. The midi practically sets itself up. You configure Herbert to switch the fx patch to the g-major. Works like a dream.

I am curious, what is the unit above your G Major in your rack?

That is a Furman PL-PLUS SERIES II line voltage conditioner with series mode protection (SMP) with linear filtering technology.

No matter if you have 1 rack unit or 8 one must protect their equipment. And I would never ever plug my beloved Herbert directly into a wall socket.

You can get a good Furman at a very reasonable price, a lot less than to replace your rack gear and amp.

P.S. The axe is a custom Ed Roman. One of the finest sounding and easiest playing 24 fret electric guitars I've ever owned/played over my 35+ years playing guitar. I use to own several PRSCE24 maple wide/thin necks for years until I demoed the Ed Roman Quicksilver you see in the pictures.

Oh shit! my bad haha! I definitely thought it was a PRS with some kind of custom headstock. Wow! I am enjoying those pictures man! Great looking axe!

I will definitely look into a power conditioner as well!
