I like dogs better than cats. Tomorrow I might like cats better.

Insanely great clip btw!

And Jaime and 3RD Power are da bomb!

I’ll take P90’s and singlecoils over humbuckers for everything bar high gain metal anyday.

Polyphia were the band that opened my eyes to using single coils and cleaning amps at edge-of-breakup....definitely interesting times.
For anyone interested, check out out their latest album (it's on youtube) New Levels New Devil's.

Great sound. That first 1:45 reminds me of Pink Floyd

What is that guitar? That is a great tone. The bridge pickup sounds more muscular, meaty and Tele like.

Pickups aside, have you also checked out Scale the Summit?
As a rule of thumb I avoid 3 word band names as those have historically not jived with my tastes!
But I'll check em out, thanks for the recommendation!
For the record, it's only the latest polyphia album that I found interesting, the rest were amazing technically, but meh.

For years I've always thought leads done on single coils sounded better than humbuckers. Even with high gain. It just cuts through better.

In the neck position, I agree. Singles have always sounded better to me than humbuckers.

The bridge position is a different story as I've always preferred the chunk of a humbucker, 90% of my time is spent on a bridge humbucker. But then again there are few things as fun as a telecaster on the bridge pickup driving an amp that sounds like it's on the edge of blowing up, so who knows.

Approaching that Jeff Beck “Where were you?” Ethereal level of expression.
I’m going to have to smoke a bowl and throw that up on the Focals. Well done man, thats the zone.
