I love EBMM guitars, but that forum is pathetic...

I've never seen so many nut huggers in all my life...ever! Now I guess BP's...or JP's "Majesty" guitar was unveiled by a hacker and now everyone is going crazy :confused:...including HIM. Sure he was violated, but he toyed with his peeps for weeks with teasing pics and no info on this "majesty" guitar. I just don't get it..

Just make guitars and sell them. Thank God that John Petrucci still is in the mix with his 1,200 models. Idk, I love their guitars...theyre all I play, but man are there a lot of fanatical fanbois over there that just need to chill out. I used to find it comical but now I find it ridiculous

Im trying to get off of EBMM island. Those guitars play great but they just lack something for me. My Luke is already up for sale and I sold my JP. My Axis Supersport will be gone soon too.

Is it the luke wit EMGs? I really liked the neck on the one I had...hated hated the pups
 
I have a JP6 that is an awesome player. Just not digging the pups so much. The Piezo is amazing. I think it needs something with a little more ass. I have a set of Motor City Solutions that should work it.

The new one just looks like something out of a Transformer movie. Like it should turn into a mini van or ice cream truck...

I tried a Luke once..liked it also other than the emg's...no emg's for me either

I once posted a thread about how I bought a luke III from a store and after a few days the pre amp switch died. I took it back to the store to get fixed and it took almost 6 weeks to have the problem fixed. In my thread I raved about the guitar but said that the store dropped the ball. One of the owners of the store(one of the big stores) chimed in and said that they strive to do the best for its customers and raved about his big name friends. SB did the same and pretty much patted each other's backs. They pretty much addressed my situation with half a sentence each that they were sorry but did more to hold themselves high. Lame.

Anyway, love their guitars though!!! Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth
 
I participate on that board and to me the rule is simple; His board paid by his money so his rules. To be in today's guitar business and celebrating 50 years, Sterling uses the board as a springboard to increase sales. I would do the same if I had a company. On a side note, Sterling's blogs are actually a very good read.
 
I stopped drinking their coolaid last year when they kept deleting my thread about seeing Van Halen last year, even when posted in the music discussion forum! That BP is a giant fucking douchebag anyways, he asked if he could lose me as a customer in a public thread bc I wasnt happy with a brand spanking new axis having stress cracks in the neck pocket, so I obliged and really opened my eyes to better made guitars.

Oh, I see. So, you're one of those obedient, blind followers that go along with anything he says? :D j/k. Look, I own one of his guitars that I do like....but, I only got it because I was able to steal it for an incredibly low price. I would NEVER pay anywhere near what they typically want for the guitar I own. Personally, I don't like him or the way he runs his company. And, most of the people in that forum are mindless zombies that agree with anything he does or says, while kissing his ass.

yeah I give you guys more than any company in the history of the guitar business and its not enough...a few albums were left unlocked by IT....they are locked now but I cannot tell you how angry I am. It is never enough and no good deed goes unpunished.

THis has happened before and I expressed my displeasure.....How far into my life do you guys really think is fair game? I am a person. My company is private. If I left a door unlocked does that make it okay to enter my house? The people who did this should be ashamed of themselves.

hmm is his name really Sterling Ball? sounds almost like some type of kitchen tools .. anyway.. the new JP model sucks a major ass.. looks more like a 100usd guitar meh
 
Yep i really liked the JP BFR inhad but my Suhr smokes it in every way. The EBMM forum made it easy to jump ship to Suhr. Sterling teased that forum with talk of that guitar for over a year. Ha ha he didn't get his way and look at him cry. What a little bitch
