I'm still loving my Iconic 15 head. It rules with a paf style pickup on both channels. Higher output PU and I like the red less. First amp in a long time that gets me clean klanky gain!

played the big 6L6 head halfy when it first came out and loved it! drew a small crowd at GCEVH would have sold elevendy billion of those had he issued them in 1980!

Green channel boosted is the way to go on the Iconic imo. Burn switch and Red channel was way too much gain, noise

Red channel isnt even bad, that burn button just SUCKS.

I have both the 80w 6L6 and the 15w EL34. Both are killer amps
