Back in the 80's/90's they really made my day. Even though I never knew anyone that had a carvin, Loved paging through those magazines. I've owned the Legacy 1 and X-100B, and my old band member had a front loaded Carvin slant 4x12. I would play my Quickrod through that cab and always got compliments. Nice cab...

The Legacy I miss sometimes. I always boosted it, and it sounded way better with 6L6's to my ear. Just was fun to play leads and the clean channel was killer.

I have a buddy who bought the Carvin stuff, full P.A., bass, bass rig (two heads!). I liked catalogues myself. I still get the Sweetwater catalogue occasionally.

I used to get those as a kid along with a few other catalogs whose names escape me. Also remember Conklin guitars?

I finally caved and bought a black DC-something and put EMGs in it and that was actually a very nice guitar.

I remember I sold it to a son of Artimus Pyle. Later when I first heard of Derek Trucks for a split-second I thought "Hey that's the..." uhhh no wrong drummer.

I had the AC-375 for about 15 years, and recently sold it to a buddy. It was a nice guitar.
