This pedal would drive a 6505+
Thanks.

i dont have that one but I have the baked mod and a mod plus. If you want a TS then you cant go wrong with the Keeley stuff. I assume you are pushing an already distorted amp. the mod plus does fine. that pedal you listed will cover any TS needs.

Perfect! Thank you sir! Yes, I am pushing an already distorted amp with it. I'm currently using a Maxon OD808 and I just think I could do better. That Keeley model looks quite decked out and fancy (lots of options). I'm going to give it a try.
Thanks again!

I had a Keeley modded TS9 a while back that I got used on ebay. Cant remember he mod but it kicked ass with my recto.

You might pm lordofchaos and ask him about either modding a pedal or his Bloody Murder OD. I have the BM and it rocks, great screamer style with lots of room.

Highly recommend the BB preamp or a early eighties Boss OD-1 with only 2 knobs. Very key that you get the one that only has 2 knobs because it sounds the best, IMHO.

There are tons guys that build top of the line hopped up tube screamers from the ground up that are much less than that and they don't have a switch added on top of the real footswitch.

Most of them are cheaper too, keeley make some good effects but I think it is ass backwards paying over $200 for a modded $100 production pedal when you could get a top of the line handmade pedal for less.

i do the same thing you do and push an already high gain amp (in my case a peavey 3120 or dual recto) with the gain down real low and the level as needed and the tone to taste to shape further my high gain tone and of all the overdrives i've tried my favorite so far for doing that is the MXR GT-OD. i had a maxon OD808 (among other OD pedals) like you use now and i like the GT-OD better than it.
