I need some ideas for a portable version of this filthy colon flapping doom tone..

I'm trying to write a doom album, in G# nastiness, using my PRS baritone. I love the Matamp and Meathead fuzz combo, but I'm out of ideas for something to get this tone while I'm traveling (which I have to do a lot). I've tried numerous plugins, I've tried capturing with Tonocracy but I think their servers might be down. I've also heard numerous reports that none of the capture tech can accurately nail down fuzz tones, due to DC offset or something strange about the circuit. I've thought about maybe using a tube preamp like the Kraken V4 with a fuzz pedal going into it, then into my small bus powered interface and into IRs. I can go that route but it's a little less portable than I'd like. Any other ideas? Helix?

This is the sound:

Seriously though, my buddy and I used to rock Hafler Hell Razor preamps back in the day with great results. I didn't see any around, but when they did pop up, they were pretty cheap. There are a couple T2 preamps on Reverb right now. Push you fuzz through one of those and do IRs from that maybe?

That’s kind of what I’m thinking. There’s a cheap Kraken V4 near me so I might try that. Also might take an HX Stomp home for the weekend and see what I can do with it

Edit: Hated the HX Stomp.

Alright, secured a Victory V4 Kraken preamp pedal that I'll run the Meathead fuzz into, then from there into Fractal Cab Lab 4 IR plugin and more EQ if necessary. I haven't found anything satisfying in the plugin world. I think this kind of tone just needs tubes and fuzz pedals.
