I saw Extreme last night...

Extreme is currently playing Pornographetti in entirety(plus a bunch more songs) in concert so I had to go. It's been one of my favorite albums for the last 2 and a half decades. In a nutshell, the show was outstanding. The band was super tight, especially the 3 part vocal harmonies and Nuno's playing was completely inspiring. Gary's voice has held up well over the years and he's a great entertainer.

The only negative is that the sound got muffled at times... Like really farty. It was as if they were pushing the speakers too hard. It almost sounded like they were playing in different keys at times!!! Either that or my ears were getting too tired from the noise.

All in all, it was an awesome show. If you were/are a fan of this album, you should go.

Oh and Nuno's right hand is freaking amazing!!! I've never seen anything like it.

Looked like his signature Randalls but I don't know if he had something backstage that he was running through. I read somewhere that he uses a DSL with a rat

Saw them last Year in Germany.

Nuno's definitely using DSL's. He bought one of my buddy ownes. He never used those Randall's. Another friend of mine spoked with his tech.

We saw the same show at Hampton Beach , NH this summer, and TOTALLY loved it. . I'd highly recommend any music lover, and especially guitar lover to see it. As for using DSL's, he sure had a wall of the Randall Nuno amps behind him that night, and 1-2 were on the whole show. Unless they housed DSL's in them ,I don't believe it. . He had an incredible sound the whole night and the Casino Ballroom probably holds 3000-4000 people and it was jam -packed. .We were about 15 -20 feet from Nuno the whole show. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to see it. . . I wish I could see it again in Boston tonight, but just can't swing it! Eric

ps perhaps he had his wall of Randalls and used his own amps at the Hampton Beach show ,since they live here, and he's using the Marshalls on the road?

There's pictures from M3 last year that show a wall of Randalls..........and then a DSL running behind them. My buddy bought a Nuno Randall and said it was unplayable...

I always liked Pornograffiti, but never really paid much attention to Nuno until I saw that last live concert video they did a while back (5-10 years ago?). Holee hell that guy can just SHRED. Not only on electric, but on acoustic AND piano as well. I haven't watched that DVD in a while. It's probably because seeing a guy with so much talent oozing from every pour in his body makes me wonder why the hell I've even bothered picking-up a guitar nearly every day for the past 30+ years.

Those two Randall's at the show I watched were powered up the whole evening. Behind them were two DSL. One as a spare.
So buddy, believe it or not, it's the truth.
His own DSL were damaged before the show. The manager of the location called my buddy to bring his two Marshalls. And one of them was bought by Nuno after the show.

Are you talking about the Hampton Beach Club Casino show 7/17/14? If so cool ,and what a show! KICKASS guitar sounds! If not, I don't believe it. . I do know the 8 4x12's weren't powered though Seriously if you're talking about this show , let me know. Thanks, Eric
