I loved this video when I was a kid. Vai's vocal like guitar wankery was so different. You can also see the early design ideas he had for his future signature jem model. Gregg Bissonette's classic mullet is as period correct as you can get.

I laugh hard every time I see the opening sequence of the video. Hilarious.

When my kid asks me what was 80's hard rock I think I may show him this video first

Ha - good stuff. Any 80s video with DLR is pure 80's greatness. I remember hearing Vai do the talking part w/ the guitar and how cool that was.

That video shows that DLR would've made a heck of a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.
