Really? I think this is incredible!!! Find it hard to believe no else is loving this

You ain't kiddin'. Been a huge fan since I first heard The Oaf. Even the Thornley records, which don't fully showcase Ian's talent are full of ear candy. My favorite musician. Thanks for posting that.

He's great!

A little over the top on the gain for that kind of thing, but still cool.

That was really great!
Try tuning your guitar to open tuning and pick up a slide and playing some of that style...it's like learning guitar all over again.
That was Derek Trucks good.

I thought the same, be cool to hear him play that way through a tweed.

Ian is a BEAST! I'm getting a big Sunny Landreth vibe on this tune.

Definitely one of my favorites of all times, no question. He is the shit.

Mad skills on that boy! Saw Big Wreck open for Crue last year and he was amazing!

:)

hard on!
Much better than all the mindless wanking that happen on most jams!

Yeah, not usually into Canadian musicians/bands but Ian is quite amazing. I sometimes wish his songs were better, but the playing and singing is extraordinary.

Have you listened to the last Big Wreck album? Some really great songs on there. They don't all floor me, but Wolves, Albatross, A million days... Doesn't get much better.

Ian is great.

Yeah, the new one is pretty good and perhaps a bit more polished & refined as a whole than the first 2 BR discs. I just get bored of how the choruses tend to get milked like commercial radio tunes. I like the edgier and more unpredictable moments best with the great musicianship, not "Staaaay with me for a million daaaaaaays"...hitting me over the head again 20x's in a row is all...But, thanks for mentioning the album and I'll make sure to revisit it soon. It sure beats 99 percent of rock music out there nowadays.
