Just got this last week and after spending some time with it, I really like it. It's easily the best Ibeenhad I've ever played and it's not made of basswood which is great. It plays extremely well and even sounds pretty nice with the stock pickups. I definitely want to swap them out though. I have it tuned down to C with 12-56's now and it feels perfect.

Love the natural finish, What wood is it? Mahog?

Yeah. Mahogany body with a maple top, maple neck and hosewood board.

Nice guitar, Mark! You know it's a proven fact that Ibanez makes the best guitars, right? :D

Mark, dunno if you've seen my number one axe:

Sweet. How's the sustain on that thing with that bridge?

It definitely sustains really well. The only thing I don't like about the bridge, other than it being black chrome, is that the 56 gauge string doesn't fit right in it. The ball end doesn't seem to fit in the whole way...but I just left it like that. It hasn't snapped off or gone horribly out of tune yet.

That one is very nice. I'd immediately get rid of the DiMarzio's since I don't care for them though.

Yeh, it sounds massive and has sick sustain too. I like Paf Pros on this one's both pup positions. I should test out some higher output pups for bridge position just for fun though.

Oh, and I give that guitar of yours 3 weeks. :D ;)

Hey Mark,

I really like the look af that Ibanez!! Im pretty sure Rob Math uses a blue one in the Marshall DSL100 demo on youtube. He gets a pretty awesome tone from his!

Cool guitar. I have a similar guitar in the sapphire blue finish:

I have a Tone Zone and an Air Norton in mine and I think it sounds great.
