He used it during the Slave To The Grind-era.....has a Steve Stevens reverse pickup slant, so wondering if it's a Hamer/Washburn/Charvel. Someone help!

Tried to get the smallest photo possible...lol-

I always thought that was just some parts guitar he put together...

I'm checking to see if this is one too but I know he's playing custom stuff from Bootleg now. I've got a piece Jon Hill(now bootleg) built for me and it's amazing!!! I know he's pretty close with Scotti, but not sure for how long.

Thanks guys...yeah, wouldn't doubt it being a parts guitar. I wonder where he got the body, if so. I know he and Snake had a couple of Hamers at the time. The SS rout is unique, so I'm curious if it came that way or he asked for it. Scotti has always had really cool mutts....beat to hell, with tape everywhere...

It's not a Hill. I believe the only guitar he uses love now is a Hill/Bootleg and he's got another being made.

I think he only used it around 91-92. Looks like it was originally white. I need to see if I still have this issue of GW-

Always loved it as well but until I saw the picture in the OP I never noticed the slanted pick ups

The reverse slant is a Steve Stevens thing. It actually makes sense, because the bass side gets more bite and the treble side gets less treble. I think it looks cool. Here's my own mutt-

jake e lee had the slant pick ups early 80's as well ..... the dual humbuckers look kinda odd angled to me, don't know if I could live with the look :D

That guitar has a really cool wear pattern, looks like cow hide! I personally wish more guitars were routed on a slant like that for the bridge pup. Probably makes a very small difference but it might be something that helps cures the harsh highs on some pickups..

Pretty sure that article says that his tech put that guitar together for him, and that they burned it in a parking lot..

I know its not a Charvel neck but that is it. I think its just a parts beast, cool though,

His current Bootleg is killer. Ive been eyeballing one but they are a bit pricey for what they consist of.

I have that issue but it is 100+ miles away, From what I remember Scotti refers to the guitar as the Triple X or Mutt guitar and says what it is in that interview or one of the other guitar mag interviews during that time.

if i remember correctly, it was built from Warmoth parts. Been years since I read the interviews in GW and GFTPM from the Slave To the Grind Era
