It might be an EMB Pedal Wah, lol

Those look so damn cool!

However (aside from them being on the same side of the pedal, which seems silly itself), am I the only one that thinks that the input and output are in the 'wrong' order? You'd be standing in front of the pedal so logically the cord would come in from the thin end, so why have the input further back than the output?

£530 for a wah pedal ????????? WTF
Plus the input is on the wrong side of the pedal.

I'll pass.

The jack locations will be changed after this current chassis inventory is gone. Many people thought the idea of having it all on the same side was interesting so that's what we went with. But it seems like the general consensus has done a 180, lol.

LIST £438 (today's conversion from €549)

I'm assuming you have tried one and realize it's completely different from a typical traditional wah. =)

This isn't a £65 crybaby and can't really be compared to traditional "wah pedals". People are happy to spend £300 for a boutique wah which uses the same 40+ year old design with the only differences being specific component values chosen to give a specific sound. On the other hand, if a £65 traditional wah pedal works for someone, that's great! I love those too =) But for something completely different, the EMB Pedal Wah is a very cool alternative.

So the only guy raving about them and attacking anyone who dares to speak his mind is the guy who works for them ?
Says it all ............

£430 for a wah pedal where the designer put the input on the wrong side ?
I'll pass !!!

I'm sorry, but I am not raving nor attacking anyone. I would encourage you to re-read your comment and my reply and show me where either of this is happening.

The input location has been noted and will be changed. As I mentioned before, lots of people thought this was going to be a cool option and we went with it. Same with the 5 available colors. Seeing as that is not the case now, changes will be made. No worries, no ranting, no raving, and no attacks involved.

If you are referring to the last part of my reply as an "Attack" on you...then I'm not sure what to say? You simply saw a price (not sure where £530 came from) and didn't like the location of the jack and chose to pass judgment without even trying one. My reply is a general one which is unfortunately, all too common these days. Lots of people are quick to judge something out of the norm without even trying it. Without even understanding it. No chances given at all.

Aesthetics aside, the EMB is without a doubt the best wah made in terms of build quality, control and function. The sweep control and tone/EQ selections are far and above anything Dunlop/VOX and others have even thought to put out. The internal dip switches make it easy to find what's best for you. I really don't even notice the offside of the input because I run to an interface in my board anyway. No dicking around with velcro here. Screw holes are tapped into the base plate for mounting. And, weighing in at about 6 lbs, it needs it. You can click it on heel down or toe down, and with the lights, there is no doubt when it is on or off when trying to fumble around on stage. I liked it so much that I bought two of them.

Should read... "If Bigfoot used a wah pedal"

yes, it is a wah pedal for grown men. not for ladies feet like the competition.

Tons of pedals have jacks in less than good locations. I'm pretty sure you can still buy right angle connectors.

Attacking? You consider his response an "attack?" :hys: :hys:   Lighten up, Francis.......

I think if someone is using a rack setup then the position of the input outputs being situated on the same side would be useful especially if the wah is not the first device in the signal chain.
I would love to try one of these and I would want the option of the input output on the same side as they are now.

It Looks so killer!!!
Can´t wait to order mine.
Hey Steve, how about some Demos?
