If you could get any Overdrive , Fuzz , Distortion or Boost .....

in a clone version .... Handmade with top quality parts .... for 100.00 would you get it ??

I've been raking some ideas through my skull on doing some kind of Super Crazy Summer Sale ..... my ideas of what circuits to use is exhausted ..

so why not just let you guys pick

Between Pedal PCB and Aion Effects there has to be at least over 400 reliable schematics for Boosts , OD's , Fuzzes and Distortions

you can pick out knob color , LED footswitch color , enclosure color .....

I won't do Custom Graphics ...... but I will let you name it ( within reason ) and pick out the font .... ink can be white or black ....

has to fit into a 125B enclosure


what do you guys think ?

I thought maybe it would be worthwhile to make a general pedal request thread. Or maybe it will just lead to people making too many dumbass requests all at once. 400 circuits, that's awesome. Pretty sure Jose would scoop up a Shin-Ei B1G if you could find that circuit. Pretty sure he would grab a Klon+Treble Boost pedal too though I know that's outside the thread parameters here. He threw about ten different ideas at me the other night. I had to tell him to slow down. :LOL:

They have a bunch of Fulltone Schematics ... didn't see one for the Bass Drive

Yeah .... there will obvious be limits to what I will do for the 100 cap ....

has to fit into a 125B enclosure ...... 122 mm x 66 mm x 39.5 mm

can't have more than 6 spots used for switches or pots/knobs .....

will have a LED footswitch your choice red , purple , green or blue ...

all knobs have to be the same color .....

you can pick out enclosure color

ink will be white or black ( your choice )

you name it .... and choose the font

that's what I'm thinking anyway

$100 is a damn good deal especially seeing as how any pedal made of top quality components is now $200, minimum. You make me think you are guided by an invisible force doing what you do sometimes Wayne.

Not looking for an OD, fuzz or dist; I also don't use many pedals. That said,...

One pedal I'd buy for the right price is an EHX QTron envelope filter without the loop, in a smaller enclosure. I like the full set of controls on this model, but don't need/want the loop they have on the big QTron+ that replaced this QTron.

I also like the black and neon pink/green color scheme. Probably not many others here would be interested tho'

Edit: I'd like the Sweep, Range and Boost knobs replaced with two-way switches, and Mode knob replaced with a 4-way "slider" switch, to save space. and add a two-way switch for the Response (fast / slow) that is on the QTron+.


The QTron+ is $192.30 new, so it would need to come in for less. :D

Jeez Wayne. When I quit gigging I got rid of a pile of pedals. You’re gonna leave me no choice but to start buying them again. 🤣

not really a list ..... I can literally build you what ever you want as long as I have a reliable schematic ....

take a look on Pedal PCB or Aion Effects ....... they are the leaders on tracing anything even remotely popular .... well over 400 schematics available

Systech Harmonic Energizer, a +55 db preamp paired with a parametric filter from a synth. With only three controls; gain, bandwidth, and frequency, it can unleash wonderfully chaotic to controlled self oscillating feedback at tunable frequencies, infinite shades of cocked wah, and brutally primitive heavy tones.

It also stacks incredibly well with every treble booster, overdrive, distortion, fuzz, and high gain amp I have ever put one in front of or after. I love slamming its input with a Treble Booster in particular, or using it infront of a cutting crunchy distorted amp for crazy thick and heavy tone.

Bought my first one for $75 in the 2000's, sold it in the 2010's for $750, bought my second one in 2022 for $1,250, and sold it for around the same in 2023. I probably would have kept it, but it's a massive and heavy box that ate up way too much space on my pedal board. It's the size of two large pedals, or 3 to 4 small ones. Having that in a standard pedal sized format while not trimming away the originals incredible output, nasty resonance that helps keep an edge on the tone, gain, and frequency range would be a no brainer for me.
 
Maybe, probably impossible, but would love a flanger.

Also, rsm mentioning a Q Tron would be cool too.
