Did you know, that if you calculated these metrics with the way they had been done in the past prior to new methods introduced in the late 1980s and early 1990s that:

Current inflation is 12% (peaked at 17% a year ago).
Unemployment is 24.7% (!!!!)
GDP has been on average -2% for the past 15 years.
 
Sometimes I feel like the younger generations aren’t just lazy, but that they fully understand how fucked they are and what the odds are of them living a semi comfortable life on their own

I dont trust the UE numbers.
You saying 1 out of 4 are out of work.

Only works for me if you add in housewifes or stay at home SOs, Then students the hanidicapped and mentally challenged and the off the books crew.

Statistics only show people that are currently collecting bennys.

I never ran across 1 out of 4 being UE unless you add in the above
