It's been about 5 months since my last preamp tube swap on either of my amps. But lately I've really had the urge to swap. I used to be obsessed with swapping and buying new preamp tubes but I find that lately I guess I got tired of it. But I started thinking about it again tonight after playing for awhile. I think I'll swap some out tomorrow. Hopefully this doesnt lead to another swapping and buying binge!

Hi Brion I also have a problem with tubes.
For us there is no 12 step or 12 gain stages.

I pulled out the box of tubes a few days ago after some time of being fine with it on the shelf.
