I decided to give the G-Major another go over the past week, before deciding whether to keep it or sell it. I'm not feelin' it. As soon as the FX-Loop is engaged; it doesn't matter if theres any effects on or not, it just takes so much out of my tone (Clean Tone especially), it makes it sound very dull and flat sounding.
So here's where i have to make a decision; I'm goinna order a road-case for the JVM, a Live-In Case, with a 4/6 Space Rack. Originally, if i got the G-Major sorted out, i had planned to sell it anyways and buy a G-System to control my entire rig. But now i'm not so sure. I've been thinking of going down to the GCX/GCP Route (Some people had mentioned this), and for my effects, shedding out a few bucks on some Stand alone pedals (Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Xotic BB) and running these through the GCX so i can pull them in and out of the loop if i want.. And hopefully retain my Tone.
Do any of you guys run a set-up like this? How do you's like it?
Thanks
