Figures are not exact but:
180,000 applications to sponsor immigrants from central and south america were submitted by approx 2,000 individuals. Many applications were worded exactly the same by the "sponsors". I haven't done the math but that's a helluva financial load for each sponsor.
In related news, Biden wants to fast-track a program to get more Venezuelans here, actually fly them here...BTW that's where the illegal came from who was just convicted of rape and murder of a young nurse.
