Okay dumb question... I've got two cabs... BE has two speaker outs - good so far.
Problem is one cab is 8 ohms the other is 16 ohms

So can it run them? If so which Ohm setting on the selector?

I always go by the rule that no mismatch is a safe mismatch. That may be overly cautious, but it keeps my amps from getting fried.

I would consider getting new speakers for one of your cabs to match the other.

You can. Set the amp on 4 ohm that will be the closest.

Your load will be 5.33 ohms, so yes, set your amp to 4 ohms. The 8 ohm cab will be much louder, assuming both cabs have similar or the same speakers. If by chance your 8 ohm cab has greenbacks, and the 16 ohm one has naturally louder speakers, like V30s, then they will more or less balance out volume wise.
