Import Washburn Nuno N24

Anyone played on of these? I play mainly Les Paul style guitars but want a 80's super strat style guitar with a Floyd. Not crazy about the Charvel's neck and read these are narrower. Curious about the quality of this import.

Have my eye on this one.

My g.f. picked up one of those N61's 1 hum, 2 single coils 2 years ago on blow out for around $2-300, They retailed for around the same price as that N24..

Minus the tremolo which was complete shit because it did not stay in tune,Volume pot was shit, and the frets having to be filed along the entire edges of the fret board..


The guitar sounds and plays great I really dig the profile of the neck which is more U shaped and not as thin as the ESP or Ibanez necks..

Replaced the tremolo, deleted the 5 switch on the lower strat horn for a 3 way, replaced the volume pot, and added a Billy Corgan single coil at the neck and it is way better..
I prefer it over my ESP MII But I would never buy one for that price and have to replace everything that was replaced and fixed on the guitar
If I known a head of time my g.f. would play it as much as she does I would have made her get one of the USA Models..

I recently bought an N6 from Funky Munky and asked Larry about the build quality of the N24's.
He was very helpful.

He said that the bodies are significantly lighter than the standard N4's. I believe he said they have a similar neck profile to N4s. Give him a call!
