Looking at getting an In Ear system...
Any recommendations from the RigTalk Faithful? I had been looking at the Shure PSM 200.
Trying to keep it at a manageable price.

Thanks

Just like most wireless systems...... you get what you pay for.

Our singer and other guitarist use a German shop's brand T.Bone in-ear wireless and they seem to be quite happy with them. They're a budget solution, about 180€ (around $240 I believe). And from what I've heard, our singer sings a lot less out of tune now that he's got them things in his ears

I've been using the psm200 for years now. It gets the job done. I wish I could get some custom molded buds but I have more important things to worry about money-wise right now. Eventually...

I have been looking at the new Carvin IEM's. Wish Line 6 would put out some. After getting their G90 for my guitar I have been :D no more stepping on my chord tripping or jerking my guitar

I have the Carvins and they work just fine. Replace the stock ear buds, they are junk.. But the unit itself worked fine.

Thanks! I like the price and haven't had any issues with anything i have gotten from Carvin

Our band has used the Carvin In-Ears for about 1 1/2 years with no problems.

Here is some pictures of mine from Ultimate Ears. These are the custom reference monitors. The best personal headsets I have ever heard. They also custom did the artwork for me in old school classic WWII era Norman Collins Tattoos which was bad ass. I like these allot.

here is a link with some cool pics of other custom sets for known artists if you want to kill some time: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/earphones ... es/ear-art

Carvin for the bang for your buck win.
6 years, no drop out, or noise.

Alienears.com. got single driver custom fits for $170. Local audiologist hooked me up with free molds.

$400. Whole custom fit system. :D

I run a line out from my Mic wireless into the csrvin, haven't used house monitors in years....

Carvin it is then . I do not Ned to spend a ton on IEMs. Just something wireless and better than the headphones I use.

Alien Ears can't be beat. Great prices. They also kind of fill you in on how most everyone else is overcharging you, by a lot. I got custom fit triple drivers w/ dual low end for $400. I think the audiologist visit for a mold was like $20. Or if you trust yourself you can do your own molds. They sound incredible. Turned some friends onto them and now they have them too. They all love them. I don't know a whole lot about the other end as far as the transmitters and all that junk. I do know this...spend the money. You'll hear a difference and you'll save yourself a lot of trouble and frustration.

Our singer got a nice Seinheisser system and used it for awhile then dropped it. We found it difficult to use unless the whole band was using them. Combo of in ear for some and floor wedges for others did not work well for us.

The good systems are not cheap. The cheap systems are not good.

The Carvin is cheap and good.

The PSM 200 is a great unit. More importantly I've tried about six different earbuds, and settled on a set of "Alien Ears" tripple drivers, they are leaps and bounds better than dual drivers or general fitting earpices. At around $350 (from memory) they are well worth the money.

I've been thinking of gettin IEM just to hear the click track (I start a couple of the songs), but don't know if it's worth the expense. My singer uses them, however.

Thanks to everyone for the input.
After talking with a Shure rep, I think I may go that route...we shall see though.
