So I got some complaints from the neighbor about our band practice so we decided to move to a silent band practice. I purchased the Xvive U4 wireless system with the Xvive TS9. To my surprise, I enjoyed the next band practice where we were all using IEM... however, I didn't enjoy my tone on the Fractal FM3. When playing through an FRFR, or listening to recordings of live gig, I thought I had a pretty good tone but the same sound did not come through in my IEMs. So while visiting a music store, I came across a pair of Westone Audio Pro X50 and I played with it last night and wow!!!! What a difference it tone.... I hear back what I had heard all along and just love it! Didn't go to bed until past midnight because I couldn't put the guitar down. Bottom line, do spend a bit more money if you go to IEMs as it will make a difference.

If you’re planning on staying down that route I recommend continuing down the upgrade path as and when you can. It’s another tone hole but once you hear great iems it’s hard to unhear them. Great ears buds make a huge difference but then so does going stereo, even if you don’t pan channels it just gives a greater sense of space.

Yes I bought an Alesis Strike Pro and it sounds great for a practice. Some of the toms actually sound amazing

I realize that now. I’m excited about exploring this new world to me.
