Uber is staying but I may be moving my triple. Not sure. I just don't ever use it anymore. The majority of my clientele are from Disney. Kind of weird seeing I'm a rocker/metal head but it's my reality.

Nice! I used to have a Canadian market jubilee yrs ago. You are right about some of the modern high gain amps, they can sound great in the room but not so great on record.James Lugo":2iewv8sy said:

Other than not having a 16 ohm output, and some other built-in safety features to comply with Canadian law, how much different in tone are they compared to the U.S. destined models?

Cool. I'm going the other way. Got a Triple and am looking at a 6505-5150.
I'm so sick of low wattage clean, I have to boost, amps with "booteek" tone.

Congrats on the JCM800, but with it being a Canadian model will your 'A' notes sound more like 'Eh'? 
As for a boost, a standard tubescreamer is always a good choice. For something a little more open check out a Timmy.

As for boosts, another vote for the SD-1. I much prefer that to a TS variant. I also like to run a CAE MC401 Boost/Line Driver into the SD-1 for a bit more kick and thickness. Love my JCM 800.

Best amp / circuit out there. I always go back to mine... I tweaked it slightly for a tad more gain and modded mine for EL34's and lower negative feedback for more plexi'ish feel but it's got the goods. Like the others have mentioned, SD-1 is the bees knees with this amp and I am really liking the KoKo boost for 3 channels: crunch, crunchier, ballz out. You are also correct, higher gain amps do not match the JCM crunch and they don't hold together as well as an OD on the front end of that amp. Your OCD may be a tad bright but also a good one.
