Cross-posted from TGP, but I mean, who wants to type things out twice?

So! I've been eye-banging this guitar from Scott/Jet City for well over a year, hoping it would wait around until I was in a spot to buy it, and my day came up; on the way with Fed Ex! I'm super excited to get my hands on this. Here are the specs:

Rest of the thread is here: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/i...i ... t.2165771/

Most of my experience is Fender and EBMM; I'll try to put my thoughts together in a non-fawning/honeymoon sort of way. Never tried Throbaks, so this will be interesting for sure.

They should def. change their name. One google search shows how overused that name is for guitar related businesses.

One thing I wonder about most of these builders, are they doing their own necks as well?? OR are they slapping a mighty mite neck on there and changing the headstock a bit? Because 1400+ for a guitar is a lot if this is the case. Unless it is a warmoth. His work looks nice though but obviously, everybody's guitars look good, it is all about the finish and setup.

I BELIEVE he's cutting his own necks. He seems to have gone through some work to get good wood as well. But yeah, believe he CNCs all his own stuff.

That dude makes great guitars. I’ve played one and it was great.
