In this estate sale there were 2 “ESP’s”. Again the guy was a builder and these looked the part. I have been asked by a member to define the guitars a bit more. I started playing one of them and it’s absolutely killer. Enough so that I might buy it. Idk. I told myself I only wanted one so I’m trying to be good. But this is like a titty bar. But why is this “parts” so good? The neck has massive pickups to me but I can get used to that. Fret spacing seems wider than normal… no? Pickups are fantastic. Easy to play. Sounds great. For a partscaster I assume. I suspect this was a LTD body? And an ESP neck. This is all speculation as I’m not an esp guy. Very pleasantly surprised, so much I believe I’ll play it the weekend at one of my shows. Lemme know your thoughts WTH is this?

well that's my favorite pup combo....hb in the bridge an sc in the neck....even though that's a rail pup in there...if it plays it plays.....killer...

I can't say anything as to the validity of any of the parts, but one thing I noticed is that the neck heel appears to have been "shaved" or maybe sanded. Probably to make everything come into line. Could be the angle of the picture, or a trick of the light, but it looks to be definitely be a different color or lighter than the back of the neck itself. How heavy is it? If I'm not mistaken, weren't the Kami's made out of solid maple? So, it should be heavy. The fretboard looks like ebony to me. Cool guitar regardless.

I had spotted that one in the original post, but I have to say (beside it having a pickguard), this one is the one that caught my eye. That top has me intrigued. It looks to me a book match of some kind, albeit a bit off center.. but it also appears to have the look of "fur".. LOL

man I would love to have a bunch of those guitars....I think the original owner was definitely squared away. That explorer was damn near perfect. All I had to do was level the floyd because I tune to c#.

..also just noticed that it has fret position markers on both sides of the neck. Is that an ESP thing? I really don't know that much about ESP's, but that's interesting.

I know nothing about esp's. If the mailman were with us he would know what was up. He was an encyclopedia on esp's and anything Lynch related...and weightlifting and bodybuilding...and just men in general....:(

I always wanted an 80s ESP but I had nothing back then and I wasn’t spending a million dollars on a guitar to play like hell.

Humbucker in the bridge and single coil in the neck…. It’s like a mullet…business in the front, party in the back….we call that a Kentucky waterfall around here….
Dumb me, I though that’s some pickup name like JB ?
