INGD: Finally caved on an E-II Arrow…

So I’ve wanted one of the Arrows for a long time. Was hoping for a good deal on a white one with a Floyd, but this guy popped up for stupid money so hopped on it. Like… STOOPID money…

Hopefully it arrives alive. I generally hate Fishman’s but I have plenty of pickups to swap them out with.
 
Ooh thats nice, what do you think of the Fishmans? ........( I would have been tempted to switch them for EMGs) interested to hear your thoughts and some clips, I think in an old clip you covered Halloween by Helloween if I remember correctly, anyway, love your playing dude!

Yeah man this is a bit of a stunner for sure. I’ll do some proper glamour shots when it gets here.

Well I plan to hate them! lol! I’ll get clips for sure. I had to go to India for work right after buying so had the seller hold on shipping. He’s sending it out on the 7th so I’ll have it shortly and I’ll give it a fair rogering before making any decision on pickups.

And thanks man, yeah I covered “I Want Out”’some time ago.
 
Congrats! Man, what a beauty!!!

You keep your plush rug amazingly clean also. The pile appears completely unmolested which makes sense since I too would be walking on air if I had gotten a new Japanese ESP.

Beautiful guitar. After all these years I still hate the E-II headstock logos.

I sure like my LTD Viper Deluxe but an E-II or ESP USA would be extra killer. I don't mind the E-II logo at all, just evidence this is a high quality Japanese made axe :love:. That's such a distinctive looking V with that burled top. :love::love:

Nice! I loved the gray LTD Arrow they put out a couple years ago. The Black Metal version looked so sick, too, but when I got that one, I HATED that matte finish. Felt like I was playing a chalkboard. Super bummer because those BM guitars look sick to me. I like the EX, too.

I do miss their symmetrical oversized King V shape.

Yeah I liked the BM lines aesthetic for sure. That old ESP DV8 I had was bad ass. I had that, an MII Custom and Standard Series Viper all at one time. Miss them all.

I've got the f black metal model and the satin finish is definitely rough compared to my old MFA-600 which is an old matte black finish model. I haven't bothered to sand it down but it probably wouldn't be too hard to make it feel better.
