Okay so I have a question. I built a rack with a gcx. I will spare you all the details but the problem I have run into is that I used a 12 hole jack plate and neutrik locking jacks to get my midi, effects loop, and input to my amp easy to get to from the back of the rack.. I then encountered a ground hum problem. I have traced it down to the two jacks that I used for the input to my gcxfrom my pedal board and the output form the gcx I used to go into the front of the amp. When I took the jacks loose from the panel the hum went away. So I am looking for a way to reinstall them just isolating them from the rack panel. I found something that might work but wanted to know if there is something else I can do. Any help would be appreciated.. I am enclosing an image. Also, I'm sure using gaff tape on the front and back would work also but opinions please..
