Currently running a Rocktron Intellifex LTD in my loop. Primarily for Reverb, Chorus and Delay. Interested in a used G-Force. Am I going to be able to tell a difference enough to justify the cost (probably buy used)?
I have a Replifex as well. Swapped it out for pedals as I thought the Flange and Phase effects from the pedals sounded better. The Intellifex LTD only allows 418 ms of delay when combined with Chorus or Reverb. G-Force has 1000 ms plus tap tempo like the Replifex I think.
I do like the instant switching of the Rocktron units. Plus the analog signal path is nice and in Pre Hush mode I don't notice any tone suck.
How does the G-Force stack up in these areas? Is it transparent? Instant switching? Is the compressor good enough to replace my DBX 160X?
I briefly used some TC pedals (in another rig I have since sold) and thought they were very clear sounding but I think the pedals have an analog signal path or something like that.
