I want to show you all my new pedal I am building and open to sell if anyone is interested. Back story, I built a BYOC kit and I liked it but wanted to change some things that I didn't like about it. So I did and I think it has turned out great and so have some others who have recently bought them from me. I am the new guy when it comes to building but I am obsessed with it. I am working for Port City Amps and will continue to learn and learn more. Hope to come up with some of my own amp designs in the future But enough of that here's the info on the pedal.
The Gold Screamer is what you want out of an old vintage TS-808 “Tube Screamer” and much more without compromises. It can go from a light crunch to thick moderate overdrive. The Gold Screamer is the perfect option for boosting your already overdriven amp for times where you want to stand out! You have worked hard to get the tone you have, the Gold Screamer features true-bypass switching so you won’t loose any of it. True-Bypass, Switchcraft Jacks, 9v DC, High Quality Components.
If your interested or want some more info just send me a PM. Thanks!
New Clips. First one, LP through my Port City Sahana gain @ 2:00. You'll hear me switching the pedal on and off to begin then it's on the rest of the time. Second clip is with a Tele and Sahana. Pedal controls, Volume and tone at noon, Drive at 3:00
Also wanted to state, that I am ONLY using the BYOC PCB and a casing that was meant for the kit, but that is it. Parts are coming from other sources. I do not use the parts in the kit because IMO they could be better.
