IP banned

this morning I could not logon from home. I am at work now. This morning I got the message "your IP has been permanently banned". Anybody else have this? Just a glitch?

Pretty sure every member was banned. I had to write the administration by email to report it. Since I was banned and couldn't log in to pm.

Me too. Still half asleep when it happened and started panicking about which horrible link I posted on Facebook got me banned. Then the fog cleared a bit and I realized that this wasn't Facebook.
I'm so stupid when I'm tired.

Same here, assumed it was a system glitch...not the first time I've been on the wrong side of someone banning all IPs from Comcast though...

Also just fyi, I had totally planned to buy the IP and sell it to Brad if RT was completely shut down.

It is actually quite a challenge to get banned from Rig Talk. That is why I knew something was up, I was like there is no way I got banned from that place. Most lax mods out of any forum on the interwebs.

I dunno if I did it or not but at about 5 this morning I logged on and saw a spambot on the first page. I banned its IP and when I went to go to ban his name I was was permabanned. So if it was me.....uhhhhh.....sorry......

I got on at about 4:45 this morning (early riser) and was typing a very long response to the guy that had his AX8 damaged by UPS. Shared my own personal experience with UPS damaging my goods and how I got them to cough up the cash. After about 20 minutes of putting my story down, I hit 'Submit' and BOOM, permanently banned. Talk about a bummer. Don't have it in me for a redo.
