Used to be a great band... dont know what happened with all the changes they have made with their band and members but they really suck now!!! Does anyone happen to know what gear they used on the Opposite Of December album??? I really love that damn album and always find myself listening to it about once a week for about the past 6 years... weird I know, but I just cant get tired of that album! Wish they still sounded that good.

even though I understand how important the record opposite of december was at the time
but I have to say I far prefer their newer music, Versions is amazing with its country tinged slide guitar, clean vocals and atmospheric rock sound. I dont like the tropic rot as much as versions though.

Versions was before the tropic rot, the tropic rot seems like leftovers from versions that didnt make the cut. check out versions before you write off their newer material.
